Ladies and Gentleman, I would like to take the time to show you some highlights of doing an Annual on a Cirrus. This is in no way an advertisement for Cirrus or are we recieving any compensation for this. This is simply a highlight of an annual inspection I'm doing on a Cirrus

Thank you,

Brian Wallis

As you can see, the spinner is off and the prop is serviced with Aeroshell 6

In this photo, you can see the induction air filter BA-25 element on the left of the photo. The oil dipstick is out and I am draining the oil.

We do compression checks while the engine is still warm on each cylinder.

As you can see, the drain plug on the bottom of the oil pan has a magnetic particle attraction device(magnet) in the middle of it. The crush washer should be replaced.

Here we have removed the seats and are starting to look under the carpet.

Here we can see the Parachute in back of the rear seat. It is packed nice and neat.

All is well in the exhaust department. The heater muff has no cracks in it.

Here we are taking off the wingtip and looking inside.

Lets not forget the number 2 batteries in the rear under the parachute!

There is a bracket you have to install to avoid chaffing of fuel and electrical items.
